We supply unprinted, unbranded poplar blanks in two base formats: 4 × 4 × 200 mm square blanks for skewers, dowels and machining, and 25 × 3 × 200 mm wide flat strips for crafts, packaging inserts and laser/print work. Both are dimensioned starting points — tell us the final size you actually need and we cut to it.
Why poplar for custom work: it is a close-grained, low-resin hardwood that machines, drills and laser-cuts cleanly without the splintering or oily bleed you get from cheaper birch substitutes or local softwoods. It is kiln-dried to a stable moisture content, so blanks stay straight and hold tolerance after they leave the factory — which matters when you are feeding them into a printing line, a CNC jig or an automated skewer machine. The wood is food-grade, odourless and taste-neutral, so the same blank works for a barbecue skewer, a confectionery handle or a craft component.

Can you make a custom size that isn't 4×4×200 mm or 25×3×200 mm?
Yes — those two are base formats, not the limit. Custom sizing is the whole purpose of this category. Send us the finished length, width and thickness (or a sample) and we set up tooling to cut poplar blanks to your exact specification, within the practical tolerances of the wood.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom poplar blanks?
Custom and OEM runs carry a higher MOQ than our standard catalogue lines because each spec needs its own setup. The exact minimum depends on the size and finishing you require — share your dimensions and target volume on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the MOQ and a per-piece rate for that run.
Is the wood food-safe for skewers and confectionery handles?
Yes. We use food-grade poplar that is splinter-free, odourless and taste-neutral, kiln-dried with no chemical bleed. The same blank is suitable for barbecue and satay skewers, confectionery handles and craft work; if you need a specific food-contact certification for export, tell us the destination market and we'll advise.
Can you print, brand or finish the blanks?
Yes — we supply plain blanks for buyers who print in-house, and we also offer contract finishing: pointed or bevelled ends, rounded corners, drilled holes, sanding to grade, and branding/printing to your artwork. Send your design and we'll quote the finished piece.
Do you supply samples and ship outside Pakistan?
We can provide samples of the base blanks or a small custom-cut sample before a production run so you can verify the wood and dimensions. We deliver wholesale across Pakistan and export to overseas buyers, packed in cartons to your specified count per box.
